Sony Ericsson’s J300 is the fun, affordable phone that entertains and inspires

London – The fashion conscious and young-at-heart looking for a hot new phone with the coolest entertainment features will love the J300, a slim, curvy mobile phone announced by Sony Ericsson today. The J300 is unique as it provides a 3D gaming engine and easy downloads of video clips, games and ringtones at an entry-level price. There are also stacks of ways to get creative by composing ringtones, creating wallpapers and restyling the phone from a colourful selection of Style-up™ covers.

Available in pink, black or white, the J300 is sure to win the hearts of anyone looking for an always-with-you phone for entertainment and socialising. If pink, black or white aren’t hot enough, then owners can further personalize the J300 with a choice of Style-up™ covers in a variety of designs that range from ultra-stylish to completely zany. Music files can be downloaded for ringtones, as can video clips of movie trailers and music videos.

Sony Ericsson’s PlayNow™ service offer users the ability to prelisten and download fresh new musictones direct to their phone in just three clicks. A range of branded games from a number of major game publishers will now be available on PlayNow™ for the launch of the J300. 2D and 3D games and other content for the J300 will also be available from operator’s download services.

Fast processing, a high quality screen, top notch sound quality and 12MB onboard memory make the J300 an excellent all round entertainment centre for people on the go.

The J300 will be available starting in Q2 2005.
