nVidia at MWC

Since it’s the last day of MWC, most booths are getting less crowded with journalists and passersby, so does the press center, which has been our home for the last couple of days. So to wrap things up, earlier today, we decided to see what nVidia was showing at this year’s MWC. Surprisingly, they had a monstrous “something” on offer, running nVidia’s own graphic user interface (that was operable at that). Everyone interested could watch HD videos on it as well as some demos and check out a pair of widgets.

Video. nVidia Tegra (45 mb)

Much to our surprise, the Tegra was blazing fast – for starters I opened a video clip, then minimized it (note that it didn’t stop playing in a separate window) and fired up a graphics demo that got minimized a few seconds after that. And guess what, both processes were running as if nothing happened, at least I didn’t notice any hiccups or slowdowns. Check out our video to see how it all worked out.
