ASUSTeK Computer has exhibited its new handheld Asus A696. It is equipped with a GPS-module and thus supports navigation.

The Japanese operator KDDI has introduced a mobile phone designed for kids. Parents have the opportunity to control the moves and the current position of their kids. ASUSTeK Computer has unveiled a new notebook series W5Fe. These 12” notebooks are based on the W5F series. But the new series differs from the previous one in an additional small LCD display on the top of the cover. Like the W5F it is equipped with the revolving Web-camera for video conferences.

The company notes that the model has a revolutionary peculiarity – an additional display, which works on Windows SideShow independent platform without launching the operating system. It provides access to diary, contacts, recent e-mail, photos, besides you can play some simple games and listen to the music. The W5Fe notebook can be used as a navigator, with the cover closed.
