CNBC: Quad-core iPad 3 Coming Next Week    [ 28-02-2012 20:16 ]

Apple have been sending out invitations for an event to be held next week on 7th March. The event is widely expected to be the introduction of the iPad 3. Apple aren't really saying very much about about the event, which isn't anything new for Apple for course, but CNBC are being a bit looser lipped. They've been tweeting that the new iPad will be a quad-core affair with 4G LTE support. Whether that turns out to be true or not remains to be seen next week, but arguably the hottest, and most likely, rumour to be circulating around the iPad 3 is that it will feature a Retina display.
