Motorola Timeport T250

After T250 Motorola changes its Timeport series. For example, a new software and hardware are used here.

Old functions (the same as P7389i has):

  • Tri-band
  • Wap-browser, version 1.1
  • Predictive text input (iTap) (similar to T9)
  • IrDa
  • Voice memo: 3 minutes (works in the talking mode)
  • Voice commands (up to 9 voice tags)
  • Voice dialing (up to 14 voice tags)

New functions of Timeport series

  • Holographical display with the resolution of 96x64 pixels; blue backlighting
  • New graphical user's interface with pop-up menu
  • 4 new melodies (in addition to usual 11 ringign tones from Моторола) + a possibility to compose one own melody. It can be sent via SMS to the other phone (Т250).
  • 3 games: Bricks, Tower of Hanoy, Baccarat.
  • Alarm-clock, which works only when the phone is switched off
  • Phonebook: up to 300 phone numbres
  • Autoanswer
  • Organiser (1000 records), signal reminders, synchronization with PC
  • Weight: 97 g.

Other functions:

  • SIM Application Toolkit
  • Call lists: receiverd/missed/diale calls with time indication
  • Battery type: Li-Ion 500 mAh
  • Battery life:
    • Standby time: up to 80 hours
    • Talk time: up to 2.5 hours

Producing of this phone proves that Motorola decided to change it policy. It is going to create not only classic phones but more fashionable ones.
